The carrier/Dead swans
Before the year ends, I wanna leave you with one last post. This night I went to the last show of the year, here's a little review:
I missed the firsted two band (Accept the change and Midnight souls), for the simple reason that I couldn't find the venue. First band I saw was Endbringer (Ger), a German hardcoreband. First time I saw them, even the first time I heard them. They had a pretty dark sound, I liked that. I'm surely gonna check them out again. After Endbringer, the time had come for A strength within. They were releasing their EP on this show. Same thing as Endbringer: first time I ever saw/heard them, but was a pleasant surprise. They really got the crowd going. Fifth band to play was True colors, but I missed them as well. Dead swans (UK), second to last band, were up next. This was the moment I was looking forward to. They openend with the first track of their album Sleepwalkers, and from then on the crowd just went nuts. Mosh-pits, two-steps, stagedives ... The whole thing! Last band of the evening was The carrier (US). Again, same thing as Dead swans: from the first song everybody went wild. The guys from The carrier were so kind to play some new songs (which will be released somewhere in 2010 on Deathwish inc.).
+: cool venue, there was vegi/vegan food available (big up to the people who were willing to do this)
-: missing Midnight souls, the venue got to hot after a while
I also bought some new merch: a Dead swans t-shirt and Converge - Axe to fall 12"
